Building software since 2011.
WebTeam is a Portuguese software development company, headquartered in Lisbon, with a subsidiary in São Paulo since 2025. We build custom software, integrate systems and apply artificial intelligence to how companies operate — and we stay responsible for that software after it goes live.
Who we are
We are an engineering, product and support team, with backgrounds in management information systems, business management and computer engineering. The mix is deliberate: before writing code, we need to understand how the business works, where time is lost and what has to keep working the next day.
As well as developing for clients, we build and run our own software. That gives us the same everyday concerns as our clients: systems that stay available, correct data and quick answers for the people who use them. The solutions we have in production today serve more than 5,000 users a day, with 99.9% uptime.
Knowledge does not sit with one person. Processes are documented, code is shared and support is provided by the team: whoever works with us works with WebTeam and does not depend on a single contact.
What we do
We work in four areas, often within the same project.
- Custom software. Web platforms, mobile applications for Android and iOS, and desktop applications, designed around each company's process rather than the other way round.
- Integrations and APIs. We connect ERP, invoicing, CRM, Office 365, banks and carriers, so that information moves between systems without being copied by hand. And we build APIs so that partners and other systems can connect to yours.
- Applied artificial intelligence. Agents and automations that read documents, handle repetitive requests and keep systems in sync, with a person approving anything sensitive.
- Technical consulting. Architecture and code reviews, help choosing technology and, for foreign companies operating in Portugal, the technical side of compliance: certified invoicing, SAF-T and SIBA (Portugal's guest registration system, formerly SEF).
After delivery, we stay. We maintain and keep developing the software under a maintenance contract or through a monthly block of hours, acting as the development team the company does not have in-house, with a monthly report of every hour used.
Our own solutions
Over the years we have seen the same needs come up again and again with different clients: field teams with no reliable way to log their work, hotels copying data from the PMS (the hotel management system) into invoicing, auction houses, event organisers and purchasing departments running their processes in spreadsheets. Instead of solving the same problem from scratch on every project, we turned it into our own software.
These solutions are ready to use or already well advanced, and we adapt them to each company. When a project fits one of them, it does not start from zero: development is faster and cheaper, and it builds on a base already tested in production.
- Workonspot
- Field team management: work orders, point-of-sale visits and records in the mobile app, even without a connection.
- WTConnector
- Connects the Mews PMS to certified invoicing, SIBA and INE (Statistics Portugal). We are a Mews partner in Portugal.
- Staytion
- Back-office hotel management, connected to the PMS: expenses, staff, stock and dashboards.
- Auctys
- Online and in-person auctions, from catalogue to settlement.
- Evman
- Online ticketing and access control for events.
- Negoceya
- Purchasing, from request to award.
- casacerta.pt
- Property portal for professionals and private individuals.
We start by listening
Before we propose anything, we want to understand your business in detail. We listen to the people who decide, but also to those who will use the software every day: how they do things today, where they lose time, what exceptions come up and what cannot fail.
Whenever it makes sense, we go on site. Seeing a hotel front desk, a point of sale or a team out in the field at work shows you things no meeting can. That is where we see what can be simplified and what should stay as it is.
Only then do we make a proposal: a written scope, with a budget and timescales. During the build, we show the work in short cycles, in a test environment that is always available, and we listen again to the people who will use it. Most solutions are up and running in 4 to 8 weeks, depending on complexity. The client keeps the code, the documentation and the access credentials.
We have always called this “we make it simple”: taking complex problems and finding the solution that makes everything seem simple to the people who use it.
Technology and artificial intelligence
We keep a close eye on new technologies, with artificial intelligence at the top of the list. Staying up to date is not easy, because the tools change from one month to the next; so testing, choosing and adopting what really adds value is part of our daily work. Nor do we wait to be asked: when we see a way to improve a client's day-to-day operation, we propose it.
We use AI as a tool for our own teams, to develop faster, test better and review more carefully. We do it with rules: respect for privacy and the GDPR, care with each client's data and human review of everything that reaches production. AI speeds us up. The responsibility stays with us.
Experience across several industries
We have experience in very different industries: hospitality, retail and merchandising, field service, real estate, purchasing and suppliers, auctions, events and business management.
The list matters less than the result. Above all, we make software that works and solves real problems for the people who use it every day.
Tell us how things work today. We will tell you what can be simplified.
Thirty minutes with the people who will do the work is enough for us to see whether we can help.
